The stitching on the pocket for sure reminds you of an upside W stitching. And yes, Maverick was a sub brand under the Blue Bell Overall company back in the days, just as Wrangler. Wrangler was bought by Blue Bell in 1943 and was the company's traditional work wear brand. Maverick was founded in the 60's and was supposed to be a bit more stylish than the cowboy brand Wrangler.
