Kir-Yianni 'Ramnista' Xinomavro Naoussa, 2020 PLAYHOUSE15 and grapefruit saladThis wine is made from 100% Xinomavro, selected from specific blocks of estate vineyards in the Naoussan PDO, up in Northern Greece. The wine spends 16 months in a mix of French and American oak casks, but does not feel super weighty. Instead, the wine is a lot like Nebbiolo, lighter in body and fresher in acidity and youthful tannins. Pair this with pistachio sumac lamb burgers over spiced greek yogurt.
