Vintage 1930s Green Tootsietoy Stove and Chair - Miniature Dollhouse Furniture etruria - Original two-prong cord{HISTORY} Welcome to the delightful world of Tootsietoy! In the 1920s, the Dowst Brothers Co. based in Chicago began manufacturing miniature metal die cast furniture so that kids could decorate their cardboard dollhouses. Sold in sets for specific rooms of the house kitchen, bath, dining, parlor, and bedroom, these exquisitely designed metal pieces were a hit from the beginning thanks to their sturdy composition and their artistically detailed shapes.
