Russian Olive Type:Single plant (Tree Pot) The benchmark in professional pruningThe Russian Olive, so named for its region of origin and olive like fruit, is making a resurgence as a popular garden worthy tree. Incredibly drought and coast tolerant, its elegant silver weeping foliage makes a fine specimen or shade tree. Scented blooms attract bees and pollinators in spring and the small fruit ripening to red in autumn are loved by birds, contributing to its ability to readily self seed. Fruit is edible if very ripe.
