Description

This 1999 Darrell Probst introduction is named after the late Betty Valentine

but one that has been difficult to obtain for nearly two decades

It is also highly recommended that this removal of old foliage is done in late winter and not in fall or early winter for a cut back plant is not a thing of beauty and postponing cutback to late winter means that there will be shorter time before the cut back foliage is replaced by new

Nearly all are winter hardy in zone 7 when planted in the ground

Hosta Imp Nothoscordum This 1999 Darrell Probst introductionThis Hans Hansen hybrid combines genes from Hosta 'Shining Tot', 'Hosta 'Yellow Splash', Hosta venusta, and Hosta tibae to produce this 3" tall x 7" wide miniature hosta. The tiny leaves are green with a nice creamy white margin and the clumps are topped with pale lavender flowers that attract hummingbirds atop 15" scapes in midsummer.
