USS Constitution 1794 Navy Frigate Sailing Ship Building Set Gift ushering in an important eraThis large scale USS Constitution sailing ship set honors Old Ironsides, the famed 1794 Navy frigate whose hull was said to deflect cannon fire. Still afloat today, she is moored in Bostons Charlestown Navy Yard, crewed by active duty U. S. Navy sailors, and continues to sail for ceremonial events. Marking the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, it reflects the enduring legacy of the era, as highlighted by the Museum of the City of New York.
