Description

As I stated last year

and this medium to full-bodied wine shows notes of menthol

more civilized tannins than most Le Gays tend to possess

purer vintage from an integrity perspective

Lafite - 1974 (750ml) Chardonnay As I stated last yearDense, tannic and muscular, with spicy, leathery accents on the firm plum flavors. Complex and interesting, with mature cola aromas, Wine Spectator 89 points
