Medusa oil elphame in order to wield anyMedusa oil is dedicated to this most mysterious Goddess of snakes, the Underworld and ancient women's secrets. Please put away your Edith Hamilton's Mythology book for now. The execution of Medusa by Perseus with the aid of Athena has all the hallmarks of a politically motivated patriarchal rewrite. Supposedly, Athena betrays Medusa by giving Perseus either a mirror or her shield, so that he can avoid Medusa's deadly gaze which turns men into stone.
